Springfield World School recently hosted Chilly Red Day for the IK's (Kindergarden) students. Our IK's came all dressed-up in red colour attractive outfits. Through the help of smart boards, IK's were acquainted to the importance of 'Red' colour and were made familiarise with items such as apples, strawberries, roses, etc.

Students joyfully did sing along in chorus "Apples are red, roses are red, I love red red red!". In addition, general knowledge based on red colour was taught such as "Red colour has higher wavelength”.

All IK's willingly participated in Chilly Red Day activity with zeal and enthusiasm.

An activity ‘how to hang a school bag’ was conducted for the students lately. In this activity a small act was presented by mentors in which students were informed the correct way of carrying their school bags, zipping, unzipping and keeping things the right way inside their bags. The importance of this activity is to teach students how to organise things in your backpack for school and to develop proper organising skills.

Hostellers at Springfield World School certainly had a fun — filled weekend. From a movie night on Saturday to a grooming class on Sunday, our SWS boarders spent their weekend with relish. We highly believe in making our boarders' Sunday useful and productive.

As far as meals are concerned, Sunday calls for a Dal Baati Churma day where our hostellers are provided with scrumptious food to make their holiday special.

In pictures, SWS hostellers are seen swimming in the pools as well as participating in the grooming class hosted by Director Mrs. Ishita Rana Khandelwal.

That sweet earthy smell, the tiny droplets hanging on to leaves, the thundering sound of the rain and wind - everything about monsoon is love at first sight.

SWS organised "Corn and Pool Fest" for our tiny tots of IK’s where children enjoyed dancing in the rains as well as eating boiled corns which were distributed to them. Our tiny tots were delighted with the fest. Besides, what could be better than dancing in the rain and eating boiled corn with one’s fellow classmates.
